Accessibility at Aspire Legal Group
Accessibility is an ongoing part of our website development. Our current approach, known limitations and how to report an accessibility barrier.
Our accessibility commitment
We aim to make the public Aspire Legal Group website usable by as many people as possible. The design target is WCAG 2.2 AA, including meaningful headings, readable text, keyboard access, suitable contrast, visible focus and compatibility with assistive technology.
Current conformance status: Work is in progress. Full WCAG 2.2 AA manual and assistive-technology testing has not been completed, so we do not claim full conformance.
The separate Navigator application has its own development and release controls and remains NO-GO for unrestricted public use.
Accessibility improvements included so far
The rebuild includes clearly named pages, text descriptions of features and their availability, accessible labels for the Resources filters, underlined content links in many sections and structured page headings.
We are using automated audits as a way to identify issues, not as proof of compliance. Further manual keyboard, screen-reader, zoom and mobile checks are required.
Known accessibility limitations
Issues identified in early mobile and page-level testing include:
- Some text/background combinations have insufficient colour contrast.
- Some responsive templates require additional testing or changes for browser zoom and the viewport configuration.
- Some pages are missing an explicit main-content landmark.
- Full keyboard and assistive-technology testing of navigation, forms and interactive controls is outstanding.
- Several pages require performance and layout-stability improvements.
We are working through these issues and will update this statement as further checks and corrections are made.
